Career Assessment

The Center for Educational Testing and Evaluation (CETE) is currently developing the Career Pathways Assessment System (cPass®), assessments designed for high school students to test their readiness for technical training or entry into the workforce. Each assessment consists of a computer-based assessment and a performance task in both a general knowledge assessment and a specific career pathway assessment.

Currently CETE is working with the states of Kansas and Colorado on five pathways of assessment:

  • General CTE
  • Comprehensive Agriculture
  • Animal Systems
  • Plant Systems
  • Manufacturing Production
