Save the Date: CETE announces a new two-day conference

The Center for Educational Testing and Evaluation (CETE) at the University of Kansas announces its first Dynamic Learning Maps™ Explore and Learn conference scheduled to take place in July 24-25, 2013 at the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kans.

The two-day conference will provide an overview of the Dynamic Learning Maps™ Alternate Assessment project (DLM™). Online registration will be available in April.

CETE leads the 14-state DLM™ Consortium and its partner agencies to develop the DLM™ Alternate Assessment, a computer-based assessment for the 1% of the K-12 public school student population with significant cognitive disabilities. The assessment will be implemented during the 2014-2015 school year.

  • Overview of the DLM™ project
  • English Language Arts – claims, the learning map, conceptual areas, and Common Core Essential Elements
  • Mathematics – claims, the learning map, conceptual areas, and Common Core Essential
  • Learning Map software
  • Test development in a learning maps environment
